October Concert
Dues Welcome Fall and our First Concert of 2019
Stay Connected Our first concert will be held on at Thursday, October 24 at 7:00 p.m. The students are

excited to showcase their new music for us! This will be held in the Auditorium.
Choirs Auditions
Fundraisers Student Choral Dues- $154
All students in chorus are assessed “Dues”. Payments can be made through your
Boar’s Head
Dinner personal MySchool Bucks account, sending a check via your student, or bringing a
check to the October concert. Choral Fees cover uniforms, (& dry-cleaning)
Philadelphia accompanists fees, sheet music/copyright fees and other miscellaneous items.
Spring Trip
FCPS will pay the fee for any student on Free and Reduced lunch.

District Chorus Auditions: November 9th
All Students are asked and encouraged to audition for District Choir. Students are
Stacy Smith selected from the 10 high schools in our district. The audition will be held at
Kim Todd Wakefield High School in Arlington. Music and information are on Google
Patrick Truver
Classroom. Students will prepare for the audition in class.
Fundraising
Fundraising is an important part of the Choral Society’s operating budget. Through our
fundraising initiatives we secure concert accompanists, purchase materials, props,
provide trip scholarships, and several other items as needed. This year, we will
fundraise through:
Cookie Dough sales
Holiday Wrapping Paper sales
In-school initiatives-Apple Cider days, Slushy Wednesdays, Singing
Valentine
Sing-A-Thons
Boar’s Head Dinner-December 14
Great Lakes eScrips
Information on each and how to order will be forthcoming on our website and via
newsletters.
Looking to Volunteer?
Reach out to Mrs. Martin or Camille Flint (President) and let them know of your
interest in helping with an event, activity, or fundraiser. Camille’s email address

a parent who has accounting/legal expertise, we are looking for someone to file our
yearly non-profit tax reports.
