I. Title of Activity: Mid-Year Performance Review and Evaluation

II. Objectives:

A. Assessed the performance of students and teachers in the field of teaching,

B. Enlighten the teachers of the new teaching strategies and approaches to have the
teaching and learning process,
C. Tap competent teachers in their field of expertise to share and give ideas in improving
their teaching style and performance, and
D. Improve professionally.

III. NARRATIVE REPORT

The Mid-Year Performance Review and Evaluation was conducted on the 22nd -26th day of
October 2018 at Porac Integrated School which was headed by Mrs. Melanie B. Merto. On the 4 th day of
the said activity, Ms.Visalymor A. Cordero was assigned as the Resource Speaker for the New Teaching
Strategies for K to 12. The activity started with a dance energizer to bring the participants on and make
them alive up the end. New teaching Strategies for K to 12 was discussed like Inquiry-based, cooperative
learning, professional development, used of technology, etc. While discussing, some points were given
emphasis and problems encountered in the actual teaching was also discussed and shared by the
participants. Different point of views during the open forum was done.

The activity was successful. Participants gained knowledge and new ideas in teaching under
K to 12 program.
