This program aims to improve their
confidence, expressions and communication
skills apart from academic development.
Special syllabus was developed by
understanding the needs of the students from
this area and more focus was given on activity
based learning.

7 2016-2017 PROJECT: Drought This project is partnered with Dilasa Sanstha Dilasa Sanstha Rural
proofing of villages by for rural development project of drought development
construction of Dohas in proofing by construction of Dohas in streams
streams. of ten villages in Beed district of Maharastra.
The rain water harvesting structures
developed by Dilasa Sanstha are effective and
useful. The constructed Dohas will enable
villages bringing acres of dry land under
irrigation thereby helping the farmers earn
steady income.

Shakti Impaired Children as per Scheme of Assistance National

to 650 villages (approx).

15 2016-2017 PROJECT: “SBI Providing primary healthcare services (Mobile Bhavishya Health
Sanjeevani - Clinic on Medical Van with necessary equipment and Bharat
Wheels” medical staff ) to underprivileged in
partnership with Bhavishya Bharat. The project
will be implemented in 25 villages of Namchi
and Ravong Blocks of South Sikkim District of
Sikkim State. The project would aim to reach
about 50,000 rural and tribal populations.

16 2016-2017 PROJECT: “SBI Mauli Setup of 5 beds ICU Unit to take care of Mauli Seva Health
Seva destitute women and children for providing Pratishthan
medical care. The objectives are to provide
emergency medical facilities to destitute
women and children and to provide sanitation
facilities to destitute women.

Express (LLE) Hospital Hospital Train (Seven coach train for three Foundation

Anugraha” Palliative Care: The project is support and Foundation
provide home based hospice and palliative
care services to patients of Karamadai block in
Coimbatore district for 3 years. It has targeted
to provide home based hospice and palliative
care services to approx. 300 patients.
24 2017-2018 Project - SBI EYE Care The project focuses on eradication of Vision India Health
preventable blindness and to improve visual- Foundation
impairment of rural & tribal population of
Kalahandi district. There is always a backlog
and paucity of funds to the patients and a
rough estimate is of over 10,000 backlogs in
cataract to these areas.

28 2017-2018 Project - Udaan Project SBI Udaan has been implemented to Tamas Society Education
mitigate dropout rates in Chetla slums of
Kolkata by addressing 40 beneficiaries directly
through tutorials given to them. The kids will
be involved in sports development, literacy
and reading program and arts and craft
program. The parents will be given awareness
on importance of schooling and education. The
outcomes will be tracked and enrollment ratio
will be shared with SBI Foundation post
intervention of SBI Udaan project.

29 2017-2018 Project - Sishu Rakhsha Project SBI Sishu Raksha has been taken up to Vasantha Health
curtail infant mortality and morbidity rates by Lakshmi
providing complete head to toe health Charitable Trust
screening to 500 beneficiaries. 3000 members
from the community (including parents) will be
given awareness on parent child care. The
growth and outcome of each child along with
necessary referrals will be shared with SBI
Foundation.
30 2017-2018 Project - SBI Corbett Project SBI Corbett will be implemented for Waste Warriors Environment
creating systems of waste management
(including awareness & waste collection) for
the rural community around Corbett Tiger
Reserve and at the same time conducting
training for SHG workers for waste collection
and conducting research for zero waste
management. The project will be implemented
in partnership with Waste Warriors.
The project will be across 37 villages in the
eastern periphery of Corbett Tiger Reserve in
the state of Uttarakhand.

31 2017-2018 Project waste to Gold Waste to Gold has been implemented to build Pro Rural Environment
capacity of vulnerable youth and promoting
best practices for Solid Waste Management
through community participation and for
creating livelihood in 10 wards of Dimapur city,
Nagaland.

32 2017-2018 Project SBI -Swachh SBI- Project Swachchha Iconic CST: Central Railway Conservation
