in Europe. VACOM is situated in the heart of Germany near
the city of Jena, which is widely regarded as being one the
research and technology hubs in Germany.
We are looking for an Electronics Engineer (m/f) with a passion for hardware
development to join our research & development team.
Your role:
You will work on the development of new innovative products and on the further
development of existing products and projects.
You will be involved in the design and testing process of circuits and related PCB
layouts, seeing the product through to the final operational phase.
You will develop firmware for microcontroller-based operating devices for vacuum
sensors and pumps.
You will fully document the results your work.
You will find suitable solutions in the field of measuring and power electronics.
Your skills and qualifications:
university degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics,
Communications Engineering, Industrial Automation or a comparable vocational
training
practical experience in handling and designing high voltage and high current
applications
solid knowledge of switch-mode power supplies and their topologies
knowledge regarding circuit and layout design, using standard ECED software
(preferably EAGLE).
experience in the programming of microcontrollers (AVR / ARM) and in the field of
Embedded Systems
excellent C knowledge
strong analytical skills
independent and structured way of working
willingness to working in a team
strong communication skills
a high degree of motivation and the wish to enhance one’s abilities
