we take; for helping us shape our lives with positivity and passion and for giving us

To my mentors who guide us and show us the right path to success; for pushing us

to be the best versions of ourselves through being an inspiration and role model to us.

To our friends who have been by our side through good and bad times; for laughing

with us, cheering us up, and giving us strength when we feel like giving up.

AUTHOR’S PROFILE

Mikaela Pilar A. George is a highschool student born in Imus, Cavite on November

1, 2004. She has a deceased brother named Miguel Jacinto A. George who died on May

18, 2006 at the age of 6 due to a car accident. Her mother, Rosebud B. George was born

in Balong-Bato, San Juan on April 26, 1970. Her father, Michael M. Zamora was born on

July 25, 1966 Antipolo, Rizal.

She and her family once resided in Cabuyao, Laguna until year 2012 when they

decided to move to Silang, Cavite. She completed her remaining years in elementary in

Franceville Academy where she graduated on March 31, 2016.

Her friends and classmates describe her a serious person on the surface but deep

inside she has a soft and sweet personality. She is said to feel uncomfortable and agitated

when she sits straight that is why she sits cross-legged even in public places. Despite her

penmanship being quite bad, she loves to write literary pieces such as poems and short

stories. She doesn’t like to spend money on beauty products because she spends on her

collection of action figures and comics of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. She seems to

have shown interest in discussions about politics, contemporary issues, and law. Being a

lawyer and it has been her dream to make a difference in the Philippine Justice system.
