INTRODUCTION:
Extrajudicial killings are homicide or murder of private individuals

who have not undergone trials thus these individuals are alleged of a

crime they are or not guilty about, which makes this a human rights

violation and unlawful to both the legal court of the government and the

church.

With the rise of the new administration in the Republic of the Philippines,

the Duterte administration, there are rampant killings of alleged drug

dealers, users, and lords which are considered as extrajudicial killings.

This is his promise of change in his campaign, to put an end to drugs.

Still, the present administration gave these persons a chance to

surrender themselves, although those who would still fight for their

innocence would be either found dead on their own home through

the ‘oplan tokhang’ or in the streets rapped in garbage bags with a sign

board where there are words written such as ’pusher ako, huwag

tularan’, ‘drug lord ako’, and many more this is called as summary

execution. The ‘oplan tokhang’ is a police operation where in the police

would knock on homes of the alleged drug pushers to give them a

chance to surrender but some of these cases would end up with the drug

pushers killed, the police men would say that he fought back so they

had no choice but to kill the person. The summary execution on the

other hand is an execution without any trials. However the killers of

these persons are still unknown because the bodies are just found some

without any trace. Both of these cases fall under homicide and murder.

Human Rights were created for equality but for one to still enjoy

and self-actualize because a society without this is a society full of

inequalities. Some of these rights include the rights to be free, to live,

to undergo trial. However; this were widely violated by some Filipinos

who chose to took advantage of the situation and kill those innocent

civilians who may or may not be under the influence of drugs through

the extrajudicial killing. With the rampant killings in the Philippines

many rights are violated and ceased. It is sad to say that the

government itself does not care about the human rights being

implemented or not, the goal of the administration is to only stop the

use of drugs.

PURPOSE:

The purpose of this concept paper is to strengthen the equity of

justice for those victims of extra-judicial killings.

DESCRIPTION:

The project will launch a website about extra-judicial killing

entitled “Misconceptions that leads to Confusion on Extra-judicial

killings”. The project is open to all people. This website means to give

clarifications of thoughts concerning the misconceptions of extra-judicial

killings. The topic to be discussed is all about extra-judicial killings that

is clearly happening to our country. One can’t assure that each people

thought is parallel to what is truthfully right.

The estimated budget needed for this project is ranging from

₱10,000-₱30,000. This includes the fare, snacks, fees, venue, papers

and other related fees.
