[2/13] Dua for Recovery Ijtima
Arrangement of Week for Du’a for
Recovery
During last week of month Zul-qada-til-haram (moreover 6 days
after the day of congregation) Responsible islamic sisters of Majlis
along with Co-responsible Islamic sisters should individually
visit ill persons in neighbors, close relatives and if there is ill
persons in one’s own family such as mother, sister, sister-in-law,
grandmother of children, maternal grandma, paternal aunty, aunt
etc. within the assigned areas, for seeking the pleasure of‫ﺍﷲ ﻋﺰوﺟﻞ‬
and with good intentions.
It should be prior decided by Responsible Islamic sisters of Zeli
to Area along with Co-responsible Islamic sisters of department
that who will go where and visit whom?
It is better if no more than 19 minutes are given at each house.
During the visit, if a big feast or food etc. has been arranged, then
excuse in a polite manner. There is no harm in drinking tea,
water and other usual drinks.
The Members of the World Level Majlis with Members of
Majlis Overseas should contact the Responsible Islamic sisters of
overseas countries (who are ill) related to their / Departments
through skype/ WhatsApp and should console them. Also if
possible, make visits within their own residential Kaabina’s
Areas, then it is preferable.

The Responsible Islamic sisters of Majlis-e-Rabita should visit,
observing the restrictions of veil, in the small or big hospitals,
clinics etc. where the work of Dawat-e-Islami is being conducted
and should organize a special Du’a for them.
Before consoling/visiting, every Islamic Sister should read
Madani Pearls of visiting the ill thoroughly from the book "Calls
of the River" page number 21 to 26.
During third week of month Zul-qada-til-haram, in all of the
congregations and monthly madani sessions, the "Persuading
Announcements Related to congregation for Dua for
Recovery " should be added to the routine announcements. (This
paper is enclosed in the record file)
In monthly madani sessions commencing during last week of
month Zul-qada-til-haram, Du’a should also be made for the ill.
In all of the Weekly Sunnah Inspired Congregations
commencing during last week of month Zul-qada-til-haram, the
"Schedule for Congregation for Dua for Recovery" should be
followed along with the record papers "The Blessings of
Sickness and Patience". (All of these papers are enclosed in the record file)
If possible, a simple banner of "Congregation for Dua for
Recovery" should be placed at the congregation.

In the Congregation for Dua Recovery, where it is possible, a
"permitted" Taweezat-e-Attaria stall should be organized and It
should be announced one week prior that the congregation will
be held between 2:30 - 4:30pm and in Punjab between 2:00-4:00.
Taweezat-e-Attaria stall will be arranged for one hour, where it is
possible to arrange a Taweezat-e-Attaria stall, it should be
announced one week prior that limited amount of tokens will be
distributed, and after the congregation Taweezat will be given for
63 minutes to sick Islamic sisters.
In the Congregation for Dua for Recovery, the best preacher
Islamic sister of the area and Halqa to World Majlis Mushawarat
should be assigned to deliver the speech.
In the Congregation for Dua for Recovery, the Madani
Donation box should be placed in an apparent place.
Where it is expected that the attendees of the congregation
will exceed then 63, the Islamic Sister of of Security should be
assigned duty there.

Area Majlis should also be persuaded to attend the

and end, all Islamic Sisters recite ‫ﻳﺎﺳﻼم‬111 times in a low voice with
me in chorus with the intention that by the blessing of His this
blessed name, ‫ﺍﷲ ﻋﺰوﺟﻞ‬from His Mercy will grant relief to whoever
Muslim is ill in any part of the world. By reciting ‫ ﻳﺎ ﻳﺎﺳﻼم‬111
times and then performing dam on an ill person , will provide him
relief ‫(ﺍن ﺷـ ٓﺎءﺍﷲ ﻋﺰوﺟﻞ‬Madani Treasure of Blessings, Page 243) before Dua and
after supplicating ‫ ﻳﺎﺳﻼم‬recite some verses from manajaat “Mita
mery Ranj-o-alamYa ilahi”.

Dear Islamic Sisters!‫ !ﺍﻟﺤﻤﺪﷲ ﻋﺰوﺟﻞ‬As Dawat-e-Islami is
celebrating the "Week for Du’a for Recovery ", regarding this, today
we are especially present in the "Congregation for Du’a for
Recovery." It is a Madani request to you to visit your neighbors,
beloveds, relatives, and acquaintances for the pleasure of ‫ ﺍﷲ ﻋﺰوﺟﻞ‬and
with good intentions, supplicate for their health.
It is the saying of the Beloved Prophet ‫ﻠﻴ و ﻟ ٖ وﺳﻠﻢ‬
ْ ‫ﺻ ﺍﷲ ﻌﺎ ٰ ﻋ‬:
"‫ﻋ ْﻮد ﺍ ْﻟﻤﺮ ْﻳﺾ‬.Visit the sick" (Al-Adab Al Mufrid, Page 137, Hadith 518)
Whoever visits a patient, ‫ ﺍﷲ ﻋﺰوﺟﻞ‬bestows a shadow of 75,000
angels upon him and for every step he takes, ‫ ﺍﷲ ﻋﺰوﺟﻞ‬writes one
virtue for him, and for every step he places, ‫ ﺍﷲ ﻋﺰوﺟﻞ‬removes one
sin of his, and elevates one rank, until he sits at his place. When
he sits, ‫’ﷲ‬s Mercy covers him and will continue to cover him
until he returns to his home.

ْ ‫ﻠﻮة وﺍﻟﺴﻼم ﻋ ٰ ﺳﻴﺪﺍﻟْﻤ ْﺮﺳﻠ ْ ﺍﻣﺎ ْﻌﺪﻓﺎﻋ ْﻮذﺑﺎﷲ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻟﺸ ْﻴ ٰﻄﻦ ﺍﻟﺮﺟ ْﻴﻢ ط ْﺴﻢ ﺍﷲ ﺍﻟﺮ ْﺣ ٰﻤﻦ‬ Spiritual Cure for Someone who can’t Sleep

Miscellaneous Spiritual Cures One who cannot sleep due to any pain etc., ‫ ﻻ ٓ ﺍ ﻟ ٰ? ﺍ ﻻ ﺍﷲ‬, should be
Madani Pearl: The cures comprising of Surahs and verses of the recited abundantly near him, ‫ﺍ ْن ﺷ ٓﺎءﺍﷲﻋﺰوﺟ ْﻞ‬ he will fall asleep.

4 Spiritual Cures for Fever

One suffering from fever should recite 3ْ ‫ﻜﺒ‬2‫ " ﺴﻢ ﺍﷲ ﺍ‬abundantly. onto yourself, ‫ ﺍ ْن ﺷ ٓﺎءﺍﷲﻋﺰوﺟ ْﻞ‬you will fall asleep.

If the fever is due to hot weather, write (or get it written) ‫ﻴ ْﻮم‬4 ‫ﻳﺎﻗ‬ 4 5‫ﻳﺎ‬
Spiritual Cure for toothache
After reciting the following blessed verse of Surah Yaseen thrice,
47 times, have it plastic coated and then sew it either in leather or
blow onto your finger and then rub it on your teeth, ‫ﺍ ْن ﺷ ٓﺎءﺍﷲﻋﺰوﺟ ْﻞ‬

If eyesight has become weak, recite ‫ ﻳﺎﺷﻜ ْﻮر‬41 times and blow onto diseases

Three spiritual treatments for evil eye

Recite ‫ ٓﻻﺍﻟٰ? ﺍﻻﺍﷲ‬60 times, and blow [onto the patient],‫ ﺍ ْن ﺷ ٓﺎءﺍﷲﻋﺰوﺟ ْﻞ‬,
the malicious influence of evil eye will disappear.

Recite ‫ﺍﻟﺮﺣﻴﻢ‬
ْ ‫ ْﺴﻢ ﺍﷲ ﺍﻟﺮ ْﺣ ٰﻤﻦ‬7 times, once Ayat-ul-Kursi, Surah Al-Falaq
and Surah An-Naas thrice (‫ ْﺴﻢ ﺍﷲ‬has to be recited prior to Surah
Al-Falaq and Surah An-Naas every time) with Salat-‘Alan-Nabi
once before and after it, then blow onto three red chillies. Move
these red chillies 21 times around the head of the patient and then
put them into the stove. ‫ ﺍ ْن ﺷ ٓﺎءﺍﷲﻋﺰوﺟ ْﻞ‬the influence of the evil eye
will go away.
