    Volunteer!
    The Arc of the Capital Area is a nonprofit centered around serving individuals with Intellectual and
    Developmental Disabilities.

    How Can We Partner Together?

    Group volunteering
    Groups come for 2-4 hours to spend time with students or assist with
    building maintenance projects, typically 9-11:30am or 12-3pm.
    Weekly volunteering in Art & Education program
    Individual volunteers commit to coming weekly
    Events
    Quarterly art shows: students sell their artwork and earn a commission
    Fundraising Gala: Nov 8th—opportunities available throughout the day
    Teaching a workshop
    We would LOVE to have people from the community teach a workshop
    about their area of expertise. Whether that is social media, music, fixing cars, or
    business start-ups, we want YOU!
