Subject: Research and Related Matters

1. Based on the information from the VP for Finance and Resource Generation, research
budget per study should be consumed until December 2019. This matter was also
deliberated during the Research and Extension meeting on August 16, 2019 and should be
enforced in all Campuses hence, all researchers with on-going researches are advised to
make necessary action/s to expend their remaining budget and finish the research until the
prescribe date.

2. ILAARRDEC Fisheries Commodity Review will be held on September 24, 2019 at BFAR,
Alaminos City, Pangasinan. Titles for presentation should be forwarded to the office of the
Director for Research on August 22, 2019. All entries should be endorsed by the Campus
Executive Director through the Research Coordinator. Interested faculty should submit their
titles not later than August 21, 2019.

3. The University will be conducting an International Conference entitled: Southeast Asian

Conference on Academic Research (SEACAR). A call for abstract was already
disseminated on-line (http://psu.edu.ph/seacar). Deadline for the submission of abstracts
will On October 15, 2019. All faculty and non-teaching staff who have completed
researches should submit their research title and abstract to the Research Coordinator for
screening not later than August 30, 2019 and October 10, 2019, respectively.
