AIM OF MY LIFE
“A man without aim is just like a boat tossing in the water without
sailor”
Everything which is created by God has one purpose or the other. The sun, the
moon, the stars and other millions of creations of God are not without purpose
and work according to a set program. Man who has been sent by God as his
deputy and representative is not without purpose and wants to do something in
this ever progressing world. In the same way a student always has one or the
other ambition during his educational career.

Having an ambition is always good as it will not only show the real path to
progress but also give you a lot of satisfaction. Moreover, it gives an incentive to
the student to work hard. A student has also to work hard to fulfill his ambition,
because without effort it will just become an idle dream of an idle fellow.

“The aim, if reached or not, makes great the life: Try to be

Shakespeare, leave the rest to fate!”(R.Browning)
Different students have different aims in life. Some want to get wealth while
others fame. Some want to become doctors, engineers, politicians, businessmen
and above all actors, but my ambition is to become a lecturer in English.

As a school boy English was always my favourite subject. From the

beginning, I wanted to be an English teacher, so that I could fulfill my desire to
study and teach English. As I entered the college my desire further increased as I
saw my English teacher talking to me in English and teaching me about great
English writers. It opened up a whole new world of literature before me making
me almost crazy about it. Moreover, I knew that if I would become an English
teacher, I would be able to learn and teach the philosophy of these writers to my
students.

As a teacher, I would get a chance of building the character of my students

giving them positive outlook in life. I would also like to teach the young
generation through my books. As a true and efficient teacher I would make my
students gentle, humane, helpful and above all very hardworking.

A teacher is like a ladder which helps others to go higher and

higher.
In the end I would like to say that I love this profession from the core of my heart,
so it is my pray to Allah that the helps me in fulfilling my sacred ambition of life.
I’m sure that once I have succeeded in my aim. I would be able to lead a very
successful and honorable life in this country and work for its progress and
prosperity.
