BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

According to Honolulu Community college The Electrical Installation & Maintenance

Technology program's mission is to serve the community as a learning-centered, open door
program that provides technical training to meet the demands of the electrical industry and
the needs of the individual. An open-exit option allows the students to identify their career
objectives and participate in program exploration.

The curriculum is designed to prepare students with entry level knowledge and
manipulative skills for employment in the electrical industry. The program combines theory
with laboratory activities as an effective means of developing the skills essential to the
electrical trade.

The student begins with the fundamentals of electricity and wiring of simple circuits,
and then progresses to residential interior wiring, three phase alternating current power, and
wiring of more complex circuits and equipment. Safety is stressed as an integral part of
each shop task. Emphasis is placed on wiring in accordance with the provisions contained
in the National Electrical Code.
CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK

the Study are the chances of Electrical Installation And Maintenance, Senior High School
Students of Basud National High School, Basud Camarines Norte, and the work skills
improvement needs to be a professional Electrician or National Certificate II (NC II) holder.

- The solid arrow from the independent variable to the dependent variable show the
cause and effect relationship of two sets of condition indicated in the frames

SCOPE AND LIMITATIONS

This study is limiting only in a Grade 12 Electrical Installation and Maintenance

(EIM), Senior High School Student of Basud National High School, Basud Camarines
Norte. We Conducting an interview only in a Grade 12 Electrical Installation and
Maintenance (EIM), Senior High School Student of Basud National High School, Basud
Camarines Norte, during School Year 2017-2018 of Electrical Installation and
Maintenance Senior High School student.

Electrical is defined as something related to electricity, which is energy
resulting from charged particles.
INSTALLATION
The definition of an installation is the act of putting something in, a device
that stays in one place, a military base, or an art piece that often involves
building and different types of materials.
IMPROVEMENT
The definition of an improvement is an increase in value, condition or
quality.
MAINTENANCE
The definition of maintenance is providing support or upkeep to
something.
SKILLS
The definition of a skill is a talent or ability that comes from training or
practice.

IMPORTANCE OF STUDY

The impact of Electrical Installation and Maintenance to the Senior High School
Students of Basud National High School, Basud Camarines Norte is to improve their
skills in working of electricity connection and to install an electrical machines and
equipment

PURPOSE OF STUDY

The purpose of study is therefore determine the skills improvement needs of

Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM), Senior High School Student of Basud
National High School, Basud Camarines Norte for to be a professional Electrician or
National Certificate II (NC II) holder.
