Music Video Shooting Script
Description of visuals
The video starts with an alarm
waking the boy up. He acts tired
and he doesn’t want to get up. He
then gets a tape out and puts it in
his tape recorder as he does this
there is a close up and you can see
the name of the song. It doesn’t
work so he blows on it and turns it
over, at this point you can see our
names on the other side off the
tape. He then puts the tape in, and
it starts playing the song.
He starts by brushing his teeth
with one of those tooth brushes
that plays a tune. He starts to get
ready for a day: Washing face,
eating breakfast etc. On the line,
‘cause I'd cheat a priest just to
get to you’ he throws his bible in
the bin while sorting through his
books, there is a close up of the
bin when he throws it in. He leaves
the house and the end of the verse
and it match cuts to the next
scene.
It then shows a woman working at a
boring office job for a private
doctor. She starts to get really
annoyed at the costumers on the
phone. She gets told off by the
manager of the business and is
arguing with her boss. She
eventually gets fired.
She meets up with a friend and they
go to the pub and it then zooms to
the side where he is walking along
playing on a Gameboy. When he
notices her and then walks into a
lamppost and the camera pans out.
After a while he gets up and
follows her into a pub.
He goes to the door and sees she
gets let in but when he tries, he
gets kicked out. With the man
shaking his head form behind the
shoulder. He then tries to find a
way in to the pub by sneaking in
through the back and eventually
finds away in.
