think, I mean I could bring more but it’s a
small bag and I don’t want to over pack. When
I was back on earth I watched this video where
this woman was saying how to pack light, but I
never really took it in so I still over pack
I guess it just came through one ear and out
the other.

shouldn’t take too long. What relation did you
have with April?

Teacher: I was her teacher for the last year since she
came to the school.

Detective: And what was April like?

Teacher: She was polite, but she failed every single

test, she was the worst student I ever had.

April: So, you may be thinking why I left, I mean

have no idea who you are. If you are listening
to this, it’s kind of a breach of privacy so
you’re basically a crap person but aren’t we
all. Any way moving on the reason I left was
well you may think it’s because I was hated at
school but that’s not the only reason I wanted
to do it. But I swear I did my tests well I
mean I never study but ever since I started
at that school I did nothing but study and
work hard, so I have no idea why I failed
every test I mean did I study the wrong
thing. I should have at least got like a E or
 something like that because I felt like I was
doing well. I guess that’s why my dad built
this AI to help me study but obviously it
didn’t work but he makes a good companion.

Head Teacher: yes, like you say I was her head teacher
but most of the time I was talking to her
dad.

Detective: And why is that?

Head Teacher: Well she never passed a single test. She

seemed like a nice girl, but I trust Mr
Brown’s marking.

Detective: April’s teacher?

Head Teacher: Yes, he’s the teacher I trust the most

and is the best one we have at this
school.

Detective: And do you have her test papers, so I can

look over them?
Head Teacher: No not with me. As soon as there marked
they get filed away I only see the mark
on the system look.

SOUND: A COMPUTER MONITOR TURNING AROUND, AND A

MOUSE CLICK.

Detective: Oh, I see ok. Do you where I could find the

actual tests?

Head Teacher: Really, no one looks at those, well if you

insist its down the corridor and the first
door to your right here are the keys, there
should be a file with her name on it.

SOUND: KEYS JIGGLING

Detective: Okay, thanks a lot I think I’m done here.

April: Yeah thanks. And I see some purple glowing

thing. I think it’s another planet but it’s
too small, so I have no idea but like the say
if you see something ominous and you don’t
know what it is walk towards it. At least I
think that’s how it goes. AI you got any
ideas?
AI: No.
April: well you and be both sister.

SOUND: OMINOUS PORTAL SOUNDS.

April: ah! You here that sounds like lava oozing

from a fresh volcano. Not that I know what
that sounds like. Oh, it looks like some kind
of portal. Should I touch it. I’m gonna touch
it.

the filing cabinet here is says April. Are
