Responsibilities includes:-
- Heading Internal Audit Department

An Internal Audit includes thorough checking of clients

accounting, taxation compliances, identification of areas of
revenue leakages, banking compliances etc. It also includes
reporting of client’s business trends and profitability. As an
Internal Audit Head, I had the responsibility to guide the
internal audit staff in performing internal audit and to interact
with various clients and to advise them on various accounting,
taxation and banking matters.

- Supervising Taxation Department

My responsibility as supervisor of taxation department is to

guide and help my juniors in filing Income Tax, Sales Tax,
Excise and Service Tax returns of various clients. I was
handling complex files by myself.

- Project Financing

My responsibility was to prepare the detailed project report

for various clients and place it to the bankers, follow up with
the bankers and get the project appraised and to get the
project financed.
 One and Half year with Jainex Group of Companies as
‘Head-Accounts & Finance’. Jainex Group is a reputed
business group with HO in Guwahati and branches in
Gurgaon, Pune and Kolkata. The group is engaged in
business of Bulk Transportation of Vehicles for Maruti
Udyog Limited, Tata Motors, General Motors and Hero
Honda and also Bulk Transportation of LPG for IOCL.
Besides the group is also engaged in leasing of heavy
earth moving Equipments.
Responsibilities includes:-
- Supervision of over all accounts of the group

- Taxation and other compliances

- Dealing with banks and financers

- Consultancy in matters of Systems for flow of documents and

record maintenance.

Six months with P. Gaggar and Associates, Chartered

Accountants, Guwahati, a reputed CA firm based in
Guwahati.

Have conducted a number of statutory audits of
various PSUs and private companies.

Have conducted concurrent and statutory audits of

Have handled a number of Income Tax files.

Eight and half years with M/s Maithan Alloys Ltd.

(Unit-ii) as Sr. Manager (Accounts). M/s Maithan Alloys
Ltd. is engaged in manufacturing of Ferro Alloys having
its manufacturing unit at Byrnihat, Meghalaya and
office at Beltola, Guwahati.
