Yes, I bought these sport shoes a few hours ago, but I realized that the size was 39. My size is 38. So
I’m here to return these shoes and I want to ask for a new one that fits my size.
Shop Assistant
I’m sorry, sir, but according to our store’s policy, we are not supposed to allow refunds by any
means.
You
Really? Can you do something about it? I just bought these shoes a few hours ago, and I haven’t
even wear it yet.
Shop Assistant
I am terribly sorry, sir. I believe that I cannot do anything about it.

b. You
Hey, where’s the teacher? He’s supposed to give us a test today, right?
Friend
Too bad. He’s not coming to school today. He is hospitalized because of a car accident.
You
Oh, gosh. Is he alright?
Friend
I guess so. I’m planning to visit him at the hospital after school. Do you want to come along?
You
Of course. At times like this, we are supposed to visit our teacher. Why don’t we invite the whole
classroom to visit him today?
Friend
That’s a great idea. I’m going to talk to the whole class during recess.
