PERMISSION TO VIEW FILM / OTHER VISUAL RESOURCES

Dear Parent/Guardian

At different times in our English or Global Studies classes, watching a film/ other visual
resource which is relevant to the topic we are studying is an excellent learning experience.
Often these resources may have a rating of PG or M, and without parent/guardian
permission we are unable to study it in class.

I preview all visual resources that we watch and sometimes there may be scenes that
contain crude language, low level violence or adult themes that are in context. However, I
would not select a resource that is inappropriate in any of these areas.

If you agree to your child watching films/ other visual resources that I have previewed and
judged appropriate for their maturity, please sign the form below. If you have any concerns,
please feel free to contact me to discuss the matter. Students not watching the resource
will be set relevant work.
Yours sincerely,

Sue Inglis & Morgan Blackwell
