REQUEST OF PROPOSAL

INTRODUCTION AND BACKKGROUND

The intention of this RFP is to have firms which will specifically address the
require service at a considerate price .Our company is looking for a firm that will
provide a network infrastructure with 50 network points or locations. We will
accept proposals in response to this Request for Proposal in order to find a
qualified source to provide the service. While price still remains a significant factor
, other criteria will form the basis of our award decision, as more fully described in
the Evaluation Factors section below.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES & REQUIREMENTS

The following guidelines apply for this Request of Proposal;

1) First, only qualified individuals or firms with experience should submit

proposals.

2) A technical proposal must be provided for an overview of the proposed solution

3)A price proposal must be provided to indicate the overall fixedcost for the
project.
4) If one has a standard set of terms and conditions, please submit them with the
proposal . All terms and conditions will be subjected to negotiation

5) Proposals must also be signed by an authorized representative.

RFP & PROJECT SCHEDULE

The Request for Proposal schedule is as follows:

Request of proposal issuance All proposals should be issued by the

end of next month 31/04/2016
Selection of top bidders and notification 10th to 15th may 2016
to unsuccessful bidders
Start of negotiation 17th to 20 may 2016
Contract awarding to the best bidder 25th may 2016

The completion of this project is set on the 27th of may 2016. If bidders think it
should end earlier or later they are urged to propose. Their proposal will be
evaluated accordingly.

CRITERIA OF DECISION MAKING

The company will use the following criteria to rate the proposals:

1. Cost will be the most important factor to bee checked, including an assessment
of total cost of ownership.

2. How the proposals respond to the requirements set in this Request of Proposal.

3.We also would check the relevant past performance or experience of the firms
that have proposed .

4. We will also require samples of the work we are requesting

5. Lastly we will check the technical expertise or experience of the bidders and
their staff
Our company does not tolerate corruption and favourism but we reserve the right
to award to the bidder that presents the best value as determined by the above
criteria .

SUMMARY OF THE PROJECT

Our company brought up this project of network infrastructure to enable network
connectivity. We want to provide a communication path and services between us,
our processes and services and the external networks. This will enable us to meet
more targets who may be interested in the services we offer . Our main purpose is
to get a bigger market and thus expanding our business .

We therefore are looking for a company that will provide us with this network
infrastructure. We also want the company to provide this network connection in 50
points or locations.
