Introduction
Google suites, a suite of tools designed to
empower educators and students as they learn
and innovate together. Includes Mail, Drive,
Classroom, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Sites,
Calendar and one-on-one support from a
Google for Education partner.
This research study will focus on using
Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides to test its
efficiency and effectivity classroom
collaboration.
Background of The Study
Today, Google offers assistance in terms
of education and business. Google for
Education has G Suites to provide assistance
to students and teachers to help them be more
productive. Google Drive stores files online
and can share files. Google Docs, Sheets,
Slides are similar to Microsoft’s Word,
Excel, and Powerpoint. Schools from the 43
estates of United States use Google for
education to improve the skills of students
and enhance their skills in collaboration,
communication, and creativity. Their
feedbacks were mostly positive and
encourages other schools to try and
experience what Google can offer that can
improve the quality of education.

A. Statement of The Problem
The study aims to determine the efficiency
and effectivity of the said productivity tools
on classroom collaboration among the
students in AMACC Tuguegarao. Specific
questions that the researcher aims to answer
are the following:
1. After using the online productivity
tools, did these tools helped improve
the following:
 Collaboration?
 Communication?
 Creativity?
2. Do these online productivity tools
easy to manipulate?
3. Do Google Docs, Sheets, Slides
manageable than Microsoft’s Word,
Excel, and Powerpoint?
4. Does Google Drive’s features assist
better in any related school paper
work?
5. Do these tools make a person more
productive?
 B. Significance of The Study
Future Researchers. The ideas presented
may be used as reference data in conducting
new researches or in testing the validity of
other related findings. This study will also
serve as their cross-reference that will give
them a background or an overview of the
research study.
Professors. This research will aid them
their discussion regarding related lessons. It
will be easier for them to tackle related topics
about this research.
Students. This study may serve as a guide
for the students undertaking similar studies.

D. Scope and Delimitation
The focus of this study is directed towards
the efficiency and effectivity of online
productivity tools (Google Drive, Google
Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides) on
classroom collaboration. Students of
AMACC Tuguegarao will participate in this
research from August 2019 to 1st week of
September 2019 at AMACC Tuguegarao
Branch.

Google – a search engine.
Google for Education – is an ecology of
digital tools from Google designed to host
and distribute digital documents,
communication, and collaboration through
cloud-based technology.
G Suites – is a brand of cloud computing,
productivity and collaboration tools,
software and products developed by Google.
Google Drive – is a file storage and
synchronization service word processor.
Google Docs – word processor.
Google Sheets – creates spreadsheets.
Google Slides – a presentation program.

Methodology
Research Approach
The researchers will conduct a survey and
interview to collect data from the SHS
students after using the selected Google
Tools
Research Design
This research makes use of a quantitative
research strategy in the sense that there will
be numeric data or quantitative data with the
use of statistics.
Research Methods
For the purposes of this research, the
researchers had decided to use
questionnaires. The questionnaires will be
distributed among students from a certain
school. Likert scale will be used to determine
the preference of the students.
Sampling Strategy
The researchers will use the Cluster
Sampling method whereas the students will
be divided into groups depending on the
activities needed to accomplish.
Data Collection
The researchers will make use of Likert
Scale that can help collect data that can be
analyzed and made sense of. Also, interviews
will be made to justify their answers
Methods of Data Analysis
The results from the questionnaires were
presented in the format of pie graph. The
major findings of this dissertation will be
discussed in detail in the next chapter.
Ethical Considerations
There were several types of ethical issues,
which the researcher had to take into
consideration for this project. The most
important one was related with the informed
consent of the participants. All of the
participants were informed in advance about
the purposes of this project and gave their
informed consent to participate in writing.
Their identity as well as the names of the
organizations they belong to has been kept in
strict confidentiality, thus meeting the
requirements of the code of ethics of the
school
In addition, the privacy and
confidentiality policy of all the school had to
be taken into consideration as well.
Therefore, the researcher had to sign consent
forms for confidentiality and privacy with the
students of the school who agreed to
participate in the study.
Consent forms are attached in the
Appendices.
Finally, all the information collected in the
course of this research has been used only for
the purposes of the study and will be kept
confidential.
