RESOURCE DESCRIPTION
Give a brief description of the technology/resource.

Google Drive can be used to create word documents, presentations and even flow charts and maps. It
can be used for activities where you work by yourself or in groups to collaborate.

INTEGRATION IDEA - COLLABORATION

How might you integrate this resource in a lesson plan to promote collaboration among students in your
classroom, or among students and others outside of the classroom?

I could have students do a small project where they research a German state in groups of 2 or 3 and
then present to the class using Google Drive. Using Google Drive also allows for students to work outside
of class, but enough time will be given for students to complete the presentations in class.

VALUE-ADDED EXPLANATION
Based on the value-added rating scale above, how would you rate the technology integration
you described, using the selected resource?
I would rate this a 3 for the lesson this would be used for.
Explain your rating based on the rubric indicators.
I rate this a 3, because the technology will be a critical aspect of the project. Online research and
the presentation itself will rely on access to technology. Collaboration will not be nearly as
efficient simply using PowerPoint. Students will also be the ones using the tool, not so much the
teacher, aside from a short demonstration on how to use it.
