solving authentic problems.

RESOURCE DESCRIPTION
Give a brief description of the technology/resource.
This application allows for students to express and exchange their ideas through a unique platform. It works as a “sheet of a
paper”. Students can add sticky notes, videos, images and documents.

INTEGRATION IDEA - COLLABORATION

How might you integrate this resource in a lesson plan to promote collaboration among students in your classroom, or among
students and others outside of the classroom?
Stormboard works as Google Docs does, meaning that students can join my group (or create their own) and then make and see
changes done to the page in real time. I would make designate groups and have then contribute to making their own page
expressing their understanding of the theme of a text.

VALUE-ADDED EXPLANATION
 Based on the “value-added rating scale” above, how would you rate the technology integration you described, using the
selected resource?
I would rate this as a 2.
 Explain your rating based on the rubric indicators.
I am rating this as a 2 because I do not believe this resource would “transform a lesson in a way that would be impossible
or very difficult without it”. I believe StormBoard gives the students a platform for a creative outlet that can be used to
express their understanding of a subject but that can be done in various ways.
