Our idea is for a documentary about how people

feel about Drill Music, and if they think the genre

promotes violence in young community's or not.
For the 1st act of it we will introduce the viewers to
Drill Music, telling them what it is and show them a
series of clips showing of gang violence in London
that police claim to be linked with Drill Music. We
shall also talk ask the question to see if Drill music is
main influence on the younger generation getting
into gangs.

Our Plan In the 2nd act we will be interviewing the public on

their view on Drill Music and if they think it is effecting
the younger generation or not. We shall also be the
audience case studies on the topic to highlight the
dangers with backed up evidence. We would really
love to possibly interview a small Drill artist but the
chances of finding one willing to do so may be slim.
The 3rd act we will summarise everything that the
interviewees have said and evaluate our conclusion.
Our plan isn't to be biased but we will emphasize the
bad that can come out of the drill music industry.
Purpose

The purpose is to give an insight into the potential dangers that drill music
influences on the younger generation. There will be facts and statistics use
within the documentary, along with CCTV footage of the troubles it has possibly
caused. We will interview the public asking them about their opinions and
concerns about drill music and weather it should be censored. The drill music
industry is rather new so he documentary, so another important purpose of this
documentary is to inform the people who have never really heard of drill
music an insight into the crimes this genre has been linked to.

can grasp the meaning of everything that they are hearing. We will
be using interviews as they are the main feature of any documentary.
 Archive Footage
- We will also be using archive footage in our documentary so that it
can give an insight to the audience about our subject. It will be
shown alongside some interviews so that it can give more effect in
the documentary.
 Music
- We will be using music in our documentary at it will add emotional
effect for the viewers and it will add atmosphere to the documentary
during specific points in the film.
 Titling
- We will have titling for when we have interviews. The names of the
people we interview and the title of the documentary.
 Narration/Presenter

presenter for when the audience needs information that relates to
what is being shown on screen.
Why would people watch it?

 Drill music is an upcoming music genre and is very popular

with teens and young adults. So when drill music fans see
the title, they would be intrigued by the purpose of this
documentary and possibly argue against some views from
interviewers or the police reports we show.
 People who are curious about the topic would be
interested in seeing the insight of the genre and how drill
artists music can effect young adults and teens.
 The documentary will show the good and the dangers
of the industry. And because we want to highlight the
dangers to younger listeners, Parents may be interested to
see the dangers their child may face.
Problems

 There are several problems we could face while filming our documentary but almost all of them are
avoidable.

 Firstly, while filming our documentary the weather could potentially be the main problem that we
could face, heavy rain or strong winds could affect our filming and could also heavily affect
our schedule. The wind and rain could damage our filming equipment and then completely ruin
our schedule. It could also ruin the set too so for the simple reason of helth and safety the filming
would have to be postponed.

 Another problem would be that if we do arrange to talk to a small drill artist for our documentary,
we would have to find a suitable day to conduct the interview on. Otherwise our interviewer may
cancel on us on the specified shooting days or the weather may be too bad to film in, leaving very
little time to gather the rest of the footage for our interview.
Target Audience
 Our target audience would be around
the ages of 16 onward. This is because the
average age of drill music listeners.
This also includes parents because we
want them to know the dangers
 People who love Drill Music and are
interested in an insight into industries like
(The dangers)
 People and parents who do not know a
lot about drill music but are intrigued by its
intent and what It causes in young
community.
