Preface

Competition is seen in the economy. Now the present scenario of the business world is quite
different form the past. Ethics, conflicts, new ideologies and energy scarcities are just the few
of characteristics that present quite different from the past.

In order to scope up in the ever changing environment, the knowledge of all aspect of business
world is a need today. M.B.A. programs and management institution offer a world manager to
the present modern business world. But only knowledge is not for the Business but successful
implementation of the knowledge the key to success.

Industrial knowledge is like a coin, which has two sides. One is theoretical and another is
practical knowledge. Both are very important for report. But in fact practical knowledge is
more important than theoretical.

Hence in order to get familiar with the practical knowledge each student is required to
implement the theoretical aspects of the subject into the practical life work. It was a purposeful
and enriching experience for me. Apart from theoretical aspect, we gained a lot of new things
about practical knowledge. I have made this project to implement the theoretical aspects of the
subject in to a practical work.

Acknowledgement

This project is that the outcome of sincere efforts, hard work and constant guidance of not only
Maine however a number of people. First and foremost, I would like to thanks OBS for giving
me the platform to work with such a company. I am grateful to my faculty guide prof.
Dr.Ankita Srivastava and also thanks to our director Dr. Ankita Srivastava for providing me
help and support throughout the internship period.

I owe a debt of gratitude to my company guide kinjal divate and Branch manager Garima
Rajput, Kotak Mahindra Bank, mamnagar Ahmedabad who not only gave me valuable
inputs about the industry but was a continuous source of inspiration during their tow month,
without whom this project was never such a great success.

I would also take the opportunity to thank the entire staff of Kotak Mahindra Bank,
Ahmedabad who helped and shared their knowledge about the industry fort which I am highly
grateful.

Last but not least I would like to thank all my faculty members, friends and well wishes who

Executive summery
It was a great opportunity for me to do an internship in Kotak Mahindra Bank.

I have done it at Kotak Mahindra bank, Darpan Branch Ahmedabad. The internship was
concerned on Digital banking inside the branch. I learn there how to customer invest in different
investment product. Customer invest in fixed deposit, mutual fund, trading, kotak ASBA
facility, etc. At the beginning of internship, I felt quite easy. But with time challenges started
coming. In the beginning, I had set several learning goals regarding the improvement of
knowledge and skills on marketing to move further.

The objective of this project was the customer how to investment in different type of investment
product and what influence affect the most their investment behavior. Most of customer invest
online like fixed deposit, mutual fund and commodity (online trading) etc.

In conclusion, the internship was a useful experience. I gained new knowledge and skills and
met several new people. I achieved many of my learning goals, however for some the condition
did not permit to achieve them as I wanted.

I got the insight of the company. Working there in the company was a great fun and gaining
experience. To prepare myself for my future career I will improve many things. I will work on
my communication skills so I’m ready to present and specific myself a lot of with confidence.
I might perform tasks in banking sector.
