Name of My story is: King Midas & his golden touch!

 
 

Many many years ago, there was a king named Midas living with his queen & 
beautiful princess Mary.  He has very large & very beautiful kingdom. His palace 
was  also  very  big  &  beautiful.    He  was  kind  person  &  always  take  care  of  his 
citizens. Though he was very rich, he always wanted to be a richest king in the 
world. 
One day, a miracle happened, and god appeared in from of him & said that he is 
impressed with his kindness. God asked King Midas to make a wish as a boon. 
King became very happy. He thought for while & asked God that, I want to very 
rich. I wish, whatever I touch should turn into gold. 
God smiled & granted his boon. 
King Midas thought to test his special power, and touched the wall nearby. And 
what  a  surprise!  The  wall  actually  turned  into  golden  wall.  King  became  very 
happy and thought that ‐ Now no one can stop me to be a richest king on the 
earth.  Anything I touch, it will turn into gold ‐ The real gold! 
Then for whole day, he turned almost all the things in his palace into gold by 
touching them. 
Well, in the evening his servant called him for dinner. At dining table, as soon as 
he touches the food it turned into gold. Same thing happens to water too. King 
shocked & became sad, as he could never eat anything in his life. 
Suddenly, a princess Mary came towards King Midas while playing & touched 
him. Unfortunately, she also turned into golden statue. 
King  Midas  realise  his  mistake  &  started  begging  to  god  to  restore  all  those 
things & take away the boog he gave.  
God  appears  again  &  sprinkles  magical  water  on  all  the  golden  things. 
Immediately,  all  the  things  turned  to  their  original  form,  including  his  sweet 
princess Mary. King Midas became very happy again & promised god that he will 
never be greedy in his life. 
 

Moral of the story is: We should never be greedy in our life & must 
be satisfied with whatever we have.
