United States of America
The American Alliance is led by the United States. The United States is the world's
most dominant "world's mecca of music" and has the greatest influence in the
world music industry today (we can see from the number of music video clips that
can reach hundreds or millions times views on YouTube, the number of fans,
millions on facebook and Twitter, the number of album sales that can reach tens or
even hundreds or millions of copies worldwide, and the event of world music
awards such as Grammy Award is dominated by musicians from Uncle Sam's
country). Many of the world's most successful singers in this superpower country,
such as: Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber (kanada), Shakira (Colombia), Taylor Swift,
Rihanna, Avril Lavigne (Canada), Pink, Michael Buble (Canada), Beyonce
Knowles, Britney Spears, Alicia Keys, Celine Dion (Canada), Nicki Minaj, Miley
Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Jonas Brother, Katy Perry, Jordin Sparks,
Kelly Clarensson, Owl City, Kesha, Mariah Carey, Madonna, Linkin Park, My
Chemical Romance, Simple Plan, 30 Seconds To Mars, Backstreet Boys, TI, Chris
Brown, Bruno Mars, The Black Eyed Peas, Paramore, Bob Marley (Jamaica) ,
Shaggy (Jamaica) and many more. And the most legendary is Alm. Michael
Jackson.
For now, music charts such as billboards, and MTV are dominated by US solo
singers. And the two most popular names today are Justin Bieber and Katy Perry.
The most popular types of music in the United States today are: R & B, Pop, Rock,
Emo, Punk, Hip Hop, Country etc.
Britain
The European Alliance is led by Britain which is one of the toughest rivals to the
United States in the music world. Competing tightly with the United States, the
British singers try to conquer and penetrate the United States music market is quite
competitive. British singers are dominated by musicians with Band format. And
the most legendary is The Beatles which one of the members is a world music
legend John Lennon, a controversial singer.
Muse, U2, Coldplay, The Script (Ireland), Keane, The Rolling Stone, La Roux,
The Ting Tings, Jessie J, Adele, Lilly Allen, Pixie Lott, Enya (Ireland), Taio Cruz,
Tinnie Tempah, Westlife ), Florence And The Machine, Leona Lewis, Mika

Are UK Bands and Soloist Better Than American Bands and Soloist ?
I want to discuss about the British Band vs. American Band. Okay, maybe a lot of
people say the American Bands & Soloist are better than British Bands & Soloist.
Do not be so proud, I want to make reviews about some things that can be done by
the English bands & Soloist but not the American bands & Soloist.
In my opinion, this is pretty obvious. The lyrics of British bands are more
easily memorized. I think that the lyrics of british band songs are like
reading poetry. For Example:
And darling I will be loving you 'til we're seventy
And baby my heart could still fall as hard at twenty three
And I'm thinking 'bout how people fall in love in mysterious way
Maybe just the touch of a hand
Oh me I fall in love with you every single day
The song’s Chords are easily to learn. Almost all guitar chords for the
British band's songs are very easy (except heavy metal). No matter how
hard the chord is heard, it's easy to learn.
British pop vs U.S. pop, Who is the winner? This is also what you can
judge by yourself, maybe for the British pop still has its own
characteristic until today. Like the beautiful beating of the piano, the
drumming is not too loud.
Very different from U.S. Pop, now they are more concerned with their
strange fashion, and the bass boom is quite difficult to understand
(dubstep).
The British musicians tend to be more polite and stylish. In the way of
dressing are expensive and luxurious and tend to be very formal make the
people of England very love their own products.
70-90s style era is still very popular in the United Kingdom. As Noel
Gallagher once said: "American musicians have no style"
7. The band’s image ini the eyes of international fans
8. Public Interest
although we can not compare it in detail, but its many advantages and
disadvantages. British pop bands and british rock band these days are less
desirable by the US, thus raising an opinion that the US band is better, do
you want to know why? because the US music market is global, if you
have career in a great band and do record in there, if it success in the US,
automatically it must be easily sold also in the worldwide, but if you have
a career in british band and do record there, although if it success in
Britain, it can be confirmed will be famous in the worldwide.
Conclusion :
The U.S. may have bigger venues, bigger superstars, and really, just
bigger everything, but when it comes to music, Britain is undeniably
cooler. It's where the experimentation and exciting advances happen, it's
where the underground trends and styles that shape the future direction of
music bubble up, before eventually, two, three, or five years later being
"discovered" by America and mutated into mass-market appropriate
forms. Whether it's because of Europe's long and rich musical history, a
greater sense of community and collaborative spirit between artists, or
just because there are so many incredible music festivals to help inspire
people, this is why Britain is musically cooler than America.
