The competition occurs in the market after the competitors enters into the market like Harley
Davidson and Triumph and they started entered the market to compete with the Royal Enfield
in the above 500cc bike segment. Below the graph showed the decline the growth of the Royal
Enfield over the last two years
Above Data showed that the RE growth percentage constantly declining after the 2016 which is
approximately declined by the 40%, which showed that RE performance is reducing their brand
equity in the 350cc and 500cc engine segment bike in the India. In order to improve the
performance of the Royal Enfield performance and brand equity the company looking to make
several changes to the different models and launching new features bikes in upcoming years.
Changing the Design:
The next-generation Royal Enfield Classic will not feature a kick start. The rear brake lever has
been redesigned. An analogue instrument cluster displays the speed in kph and mph, which we
have seen on several other Royal Enfield bikes.
