WASH Head of Project (M/W)

Action Contre la Faim (ACF) is an international non-governmental organization working in more than 40
countries in the fields of nutrition, food security and livelihoods, water sanitation and hygiene, and care
practices. ACF is looking for its program in the Kurdistan Regional Government for one (1) WASH HoP
(M/W).

Work place: Erbil with frequent trips to field

Type of contract: fixed-term contract of 9 months (with the possibility of extension/ or Open Ended
Contract)

Salary: 1,980,000 IQD

Assignments: Conduct the implementation of the project, be implicated in its elaboration, its impact
analysis, its integration and sector coordination.

Specific activities: - Organize and manage the project

- Implement the project’s hydraulic and construction activities
- Participate in implicating the beneficiary communities in the project
- Manage the project team

Recruitment criteria: Diploma in hydraulics or civil engineering – experience in project management –

experience in management-knowledge of humanitarian environment and emergency response
Project management capacity – Ability to analyze and synthesize – Capacity to supervise a team – Capacity
to follow big contract and construction company – Organizational qualities – Diplomacy – Good relations
with people – Dynamism – Good proficiency of English, Arabic and Kurdish languages - High flexibility and
mobility to work/travel in camps depending on refugee’s location is essential
