2 Watsan Supervisors (M/W)

Action Contre la Faim (ACF) is an international non-governmental organization working in more than 40
countries in the fields of nutrition, food security and livelihoods, water sanitation and hygiene, and care
practices. ACF is looking for two (2) Watsan Supervisors for its programs in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

Work place: Geographical area covered by ACF-KRI programs + travels as required by the programs, mainly
Tilkaif and other districts of Ninewa governorate
Type of contract: Fixed-Term Contract of 3 months
Salary: 1,574,600 IQD + Benefits

Main Assignment: Organize and supervise the rehabilitation and construction works done by contractors
and ensure high quality implementation

Main activities:
- Implement the sanitation and water network construction activities
- Manage the contractor
- Relay ACF activities and objectives to the communities and partners
Recruitment Criteria:
Degree / Level of studies: Technical degree (Institute level) in hydraulic or civil engineering
Professional experience: 2 years of work experience in a relevant field.
Technical skills: Experience on civil engineering and water network construction
General required skills: Proven ability to manage a team and manage sub-contractors - Good writing
capacity and interpersonal skills,- Experience in NGO WaSH infrastructure development would be a distinct
advantage- Good knowledge of the project areaStrong commitment to the humanitarian crises - Good
physical condition -Dynamism –Good organizing capacity – Rigour
Language: Knowledge of Kurdish, Arabic and English mandatory
