Action Contre la Faim (ACF) is an international non-governmental organization working in more than 40 countries in
the fields of nutrition, food security and livelihoods, water sanitation and hygiene, and care practices. ACF is looking
for one (1) Watsan Head of Project for its programs in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

Work place: Geographical area covered by ACF-KRI programs + travels as required by the programs, mainly Tilkaif
and other districts of Ninewa governorate
Type of contract: Fixed-Term Contract of 4,5 months
Salary: 1,980,000 IQD + Benefits

Main Assignment: Conduct the implementation of the WaSH project, participate in its development, its impact
analysis, its integration and sectorial coordination

Main activities:
- Organize and manage the project
- Implement the project’s rehabilitation and construction activities
- Coordinate and promote participative hygiene promotion activities with the
beneficiary communities
- Manage the project team
- Relay ACF activities and objectives to the communities and partners
Recruitment Criteria:

Degree / Level of studies: Degree in hydraulics or civil engineering

Professional experience: Minimum 2 years of professional experience in water and sanitation projects - Experience
in project management
Technical skills: Knowledge of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene - Knowledge of civil engineering - Knowledge of social
mobilization and hygiene promotion
General required skills: Project management capacity - Ability to analyse and synthesize - Capacity to supervise a
team - Capacity to follow big contract and construction company - Organizational qualities -Diplomacy -Good
relations with people -Flexibility and adaptability
Language: Knowledge of Kurdish, Arabic and English mandatory
