Reflection

It’s a wow morning to you. “Great things start from humble

beginning “. While listening to the speaker Mr. Red Rodriguez he is a
manager of chowking and a food handler. I realize the importance of
taking calculated risks and especially personal hygiene and sanitation
and especially proper handling of food. He explained the importance of
sanitation and when the bacteria come from the food. We also know that
the bacteria cannot sea by eyes only we need to use microscope too
sea them. I learned a lot of things because of this seminar especially in
chowking.
Chowking is fast food restaurant Knowing that a familiar
and continue expanding restaurant. I learned a lot of things like how
chowking expanded though the years in the market place especially
now that the chowking is become wholly owned subsidiary of Jollibee
and has a million stores in the world. When Mr. Red start the seminar,
he has a sample of some restaurant forced to be closed because of
serious reason for example 2015, ERGO CHA one of the famous milk
Tea. The reason why this management forcedly to close is one of the
costumers suddenly shut down because it has oxalic acid mixed with
the drink she buys. Confirming The reason why one of the costumers
suddenly shut down is some of staff put a wrong ingredient’s in the milk
tea. This is a lesson to another restaurant that we need to put a name
tag on the container knowing that the ingredient is correct. Going back
to our main topic in chowking restaurant I notice that their staff is
approachable and they always were their smile when we are asking or
approaching to them especially Mr. Red because he has cheerful
personality. I notice that they are already wear their proper personal
protective equipment as they enter to the kitchen nor working place. I
am thankful enough that the management of chowking give chance to
visit and observed their kitchen. One of their staff explain the
importance of the equipment like chiller and the process from which
they prepare the ingredient from raw materials to the process wherein
the products made are good; I am very thankful enough because it
another lesson I learned in processing the food.
