2.0 Apparatus and instruments

Below are lab apparatus and instruments used in order to carry out this test.
1) 100 ml container
2) 0.2 cm diameter glass bead
3) Shaker, Touch TC-0188
4) Fineness Gauge, max. 25 µm

Tambahan: AF 3250 #140306 pail 1 and 2 looks slightly more hazy than the fresh lot.

3. Check foam stability

use PU Acrylic clear with viscosity 35 – 40 sec NK2 coba di cek PU clear yg kamu pake kemarin
berapa visconya menggunakan NK2 cup. Kalau aku kmren sekitar 35 – 40 NK2.
Besok2 kita buat clear nya dgn visko 35 – 40 NK2 ya.. sori kmren sy lupa kasih tau info ini.
Tapi utk skg gak masalah, tp kamu hrus kasih keterangan berapa viskositasnya

Result :
AF 3250 STD sample and AF 3250 #160054 Pail 1,2 are clear and there is no foam after 18
minutes stored in room temperature.
 4. Solid Content

As regulation to know the ability of AFCONA 3250 (lot number 140306) , first we have to check
the solid content of AFCONA 3250 standard (lot number 160054).
 Balance the empty weight of the containers
 Load the sample (expired) and standard in different container with the same weight.
 Put into the oven about 1 hour in temperature 150 degrees Celcius
 Then calculate the solid content

Conclusion
AFCONA lot #140306 pail 1, 2 give similar performance in slip, levelling and foam stabilizing also
have almost similar solid content with AFCONA 3250 STD sample #160054.
