I. The Problem and its Setting

Introduction

Glass has been in society in its most basic form since circa 4000BC and was used

mainly to produce weapons and jewelry, and by 1500BC glass vessels were used in

cooking and drinking. Glass has been developed for thousands of years of production

methods have evolved considerably since its induction. A key factor that sparked a large

increase in the mass production of glass was the development of the Solvay process in

the 1860s, which significantly reduce the cost of sodium oxide, a major input into the glass

production process. Two important developments in 20th century were automation, with

the introduction of the float process in 1952 for flat glass (Siddharth Agarwal 2014)

Our society is composing of different business and other establishment nowadays

but most of the business has only the same products. One of the major factors that a

businessman should know is on how to come up with a product that will last and that will

fulfill the needs of the consumers that is why this research tend to focus on the process

and techniques on how Leadership among Marketing Team can affect in Glass and

Aluminum Production.

The glass and aluminum design manufactory business growing up rapidly in

General Tinio. Because of its durability, low maintenance, high energy efficiency and cost-

effective solutions, Papayano’s are willing to substitute their wood door, steel windows to

glass and aluminum. The researchers must try to identify the best promoting strategy in

the line of glass and aluminum business in General, Tinio.

This study to find out The Leadership among the Marketing Team in Glass
Aluminum Design Manufactory
Specially, it sought to answer the following:

Conceptual Framework

The study is about the business Glass and Aluminum strategy. How the

papayano’s want most in terms of glass and aluminum design manufactory. The marketer

conducted the study to identify the best promotional strategy to use to be the leading

these through the process of a set questionnaire and interview. The outcome is what will

The result of this research work will be beneficial to Business Owner, Community,

Customer, Aspiring Entrepreneur and Future Researcher.

beneficial of this work. It serves as the result of their hard work and success.

Definition of Terms

To avoid misinterpretation of the terms used in this study, the researchers defined

the following;

Business. It is business that you earn money and you can help your parents or family. It

is also important that you know how to get involved with your customer so you do not

want to leave.

Business Owner. The business owner is individual who own the business entity in

attempt to the success of the business.

Product. This is the product of the company or producers offered to marketers and their

employees are demo on every person with business.

Promotional Strategy. The choice of a target market and formulation of the most

appropriate promotion mix to influence it.

III. Research Methodology

This chapter discusses the method of research in the study. It deals with research

design and techniques used in gathering data, sources of data, including the statistical

strategy treatment for analyzing data.

Research Method

The research of this study used the descriptive method. To define the descriptive

method Creswell (2002) defined descriptive method as the collation, analysis,

classification and tabulation of data about practices, beliefs, process and adequate and

accurate interpretation about research data. This descriptive research method

emphasizes the use of instrument such as survey questionnaire, preference and views of

people in particular stations and to make an interpretation on the information gathered.

The researchers conducted a survey questionnaire about the the Leadership

among Marketing Team in Glass Alumium design manufactory. The researchers of this

study distributed the questionnaires to the respondent that contain five options to indicate

weight of responses. The respondents indicated the agreement or disagreement to the

listed factors using the following response mode:

Research Locale

This research study will be conducted in the province of Nueva Ecija particularly

the municipality of General Tinio who have a Glass and Aluminum Design Business.

Research Instruments

This study made use of questionnaires as the main tool for gathering pertinent and

relevant data. The type of questionnaire requires short responses by merely filling in and

checking the boxes for each item. The questionnaire was intended to be answered by the

owner/ manager of the Glass and Aluminum design business in General Tinio.

The set of questionnaire was intended to be answered by the owner / mongered

are composed of statement about the Business profile and the problems encountered in

operation management of Glass and Aluminum design Business.

Development and administration of instrument

The researcher will ask permission in writing from the respondents in the selected

Business in General Tinio. Upon receiving the approval to the request.

Reliability and validity

The researcher conducted a research title “The Leadership among Marketing

Team in Glass Aluminum Design Manufactory”, for some suggestions and

recommendations the researcher was consulted with the subject Professor Mrs. Jennifer

Bulawit, MBA. LPT, the researcher conducted survey for gathering data.

Statistical Treatment of Data

After collecting the data needed, the researchers tabulated and analyzed the

gathered data with the help of statistical tools. The following are the statistical tools used

in the study together with their corresponding formulas.

1. The profile of the respondents was determined by using frequency distribution,

percentage, ranking weighted mean.
