What is defines a beautiful beach? For some, it's the whiteness of the sand and the clarity of the
water. For others, it's the ruggedness of the coast and the power of the waves. For others, it's the
beauty of the people sitting along the shore. When it comes to beaches, beauty is definitely in the
eye of the beholder.

Hello I’m Gloria and for the next 5 minutes, I’ll bring you not only to walk around beautiful
beach of Malang Regency but also I’m going to encourage you to be contributive tourist. And
I’m going to reveal the secret of Malang regency’s paradise.

Did you know? A total of 15.81 million foreign tourists already visited Indonesia throughout
2018, this fact came from Statistics Indonesia (BPS), actually falling short from the
government’s target of attracting 17 million tourists in 2018. However, this figure reflects a
12.58 percent growth in tourist arrivals from 2017 because of a significant surge in vacationers in
December.

Determined to grow the role of tourism in the National economy, officials have set a target of 20
million foreign tourists to Indonesia in 2019 –which this is an increase of 26.51% over 2018.

But my one big fat question is . could we reach that number? Could we reach a target of 20
million foreign tourists to Indonesia in 2019?

My answer is: ABSELUTELY YES!!

Because all the beauty that nature could over is all start in Indonesia.

I’ll show you the excample, malang regency’s 2 pathway of marine path.

First would be Panoramic Marine Path, which family oriented trip. First, from the center
of the Malang city only takes half an hour to Bonderland Waterpark not only we could
have a good time swimming but we also could learn about Jaran Kepang. Next only takes
10 minutes we were going to Padepokan Asmoro Bangun as cultural excusion in there
we could learn tradisional dance and how to made a tradisional mask, after that we
could fill our stomach with delicious culinary excusion at Kepanjen such as spicy
Menthok. Or we could enjoy the chill brezze of Desa Wisata Sanankerto only takes one
hour from kepanjen, and the last destination of course beautiful beach Pantai
Balekambang, and Pantai Jalur Lintas Selatan which only takes 1 hours from kepanjen.

Second Adventurous Marine Path, which fits to free spirit and adventurous person with
varied water attraction. First placed, from Kepanjen is only takes 10 minutes far is the
beautiful Sumber Maron, then 10 minutes closed by from sumber maron there is
Sumber Taman, and also Sumber Sira that only takes 10 minutes from Kepanjen. And
the last destination is amazing Bowele, only 2 hours from Kepanjen we could surf,
swim, and camp in there

Not only with those amazing places for many levels tourist style and tourism types, but also the
government integrated it all with such an ongoing event called Malang Beach festival.

Back to my first question. Absolutely yes we could reach 20 million foreign tourists to
Indonesia in 2019, because we have the place and the event. Its start from you to join and enliven
the nearest even on Malang Beach Festival.

I believe our tourism sector is one that could bring prosperity for Indonesia. The better of
Indonesia tourism is in my hand, is in your hand, and our hand to achieve the greater good of
Indonesia
