Interview Overview 
I conducted my interviews on google hangouts because it allows two (or more) parties to talk to 
each other. It also allowed me to see other potential customers who were online who I could 
also interview. Overall, google hangouts is one of the best ways to conduct interviews because it 
allows you to talk to the person, retrieve information, and type it onto a doc simultaneously. 

Insights 
As an interviewer, I felt it was hard to get people to interview. Many people didn’t have time or 
we’rent online at the time I was. But when I got people, I interviewed them with the best 
questions that I could think of in 10 minutes. And a lot of those times, the answers proved helpful. 
I’d say that the best interview I’ve done so far is one with A**** S***. Instead of only me asking 
him questions, he actually asked a few himself which got me wondering about my product. ​“​How 
​ his was probably 
strong is ur battery? Cuz it can't be too strong or else more weight will be added.​” T
the best question I received insight on. This then got me thinking about adding detachable solar 
panels which could then recharge the main battery. One question I have to ask this week is how 
do you think fish farms affect wildlife and how does it affect the economy. 

Best and Worst 

My best question I asked was “​So when designing a submersible, which marine creatures do u 
think it should be designed as?​” This is so because it showed me which creature most people 
think is maneuverable and well suited for the environment so we could design the rover. My 
worst, “​If you could have a rover or submersible that could perform the task you want with
specified mods would you rather ​buy the rover and the mods for your function​ or ​subscribe to a
service which allowed you to get the rover and a select amount of mods depending on your
payment. And you can switch out the mods on the second option.

” This was a bad question because a. I asked this in week two when we shouldn't think about 
marketing b. This was made with a murky vision c. It doesn’t describe anything the rover would 
do. 

 
 
 

Which is Important…  
I’d say that more time would prove to be the best. I chose this because with more time we could 
collect more data which allows more insight, more info, more advancement. With good interview 
questions, you would get specific data which is good except that u get only so little of it. And I 
don’t see anything that good people skills will help with.
