ith Obeisance to Lord Ganapathi and to the benevolent Mercury who is the
karaka of karmas that we do in this life especially of karma we do of gossip,
we submit this technique at the holy feet of Sage Bhrighu, the founder of
Bhrighu astrology, the greatest one who no doubt is most beloved for
showing us all that we do not know the basics of astrology yet. May he accept and bless this
technique. May the ones who follow the rules of Jyotisha Purusha be able to use this technique
effectively.

Mastering BSPs

T
o Master BSPs or any particular technique of astrology, you have to let go of all
techniques and use only that one particular BSP on 25 to 50 charts. After this stage
the technique will start talking to you, then practice it blindly on 25 more charts and
then mastery will happen if it is in your karma to use BSP or become a great astrologer. By
the end of 75 charts you yourself will learn the exceptions to the rule. 99% of the astrologers
do not even pass this bridge. If you cannot follow the process of hard work in astrology
especially in today’s time where no one has a Guru to guide on how to master a technique, you
will land up either wasting your time or becoming a self obsessed critic who only passes
judgement on every technique that it is not working without even going through the process.
It is akin to someone who has never fallen in love and commenting on love, what will he
understand why a man can spend his 6 months of salary to send bouquets every 10 minutes
to a woman without letting her know who sent it.

BSP- 33: ‘Mercury implements its energies in the 8th house from itself in the 32nd year.

Let us illustrate the above technique by taking a few charts.

Chart 1: SA Volunteer

Step 1: The 32nd year for this native would be from Oct 1980 to Oct 1981

Step 2: Mer is in the 9H so 8th from it would be the 4H of one’s home, the lord of which is
Mars, who is property karaka. It is sitting in the arudha of the 4H (that is 7H) and in natural
4th house sign which is Cancer.
Step 3: The native could not remember what happened in his 32nd year (he is 64 now) but
after few minutes he remembered that he had sold his Chennai house in 1981 in his 32nd year.

Chart 2: Job
Step 1: The 32nd year of the native would be from May 2004 to May 2005
Step 2: Mer is in the 11H so the 8th from it would be the 6H of job, whose lord is Mars
Step 3: This 8L from Mer is Mars placed in the 9H of bhagya and aspected by Saturn from
12H of abroad who is with 5L Venus
Observation: The native was asked if he got a job (8th from Mer is 6H of job) in the 32nd year
and he said he got a very high post job abroad but in his fight against corruption he
developed many powerful enemies at the job place and finally had to leave the job due to
rivalry among the two bosses in the job place. One must note that Mars Saturn aspect on
same house is not good.

Chart 3: Journey Home

a) 32nd year of this native operates from Nov 2010 - Nov 2011
b) Mercury is in 4H and implements in Gemini (8H from its natal position) in the 32nd
year. Lord of Gemini is Mercury posited in the 4H of home, motherland, estate, vehicle,
comforts & happiness, mother, peace of mind, heart, education, etc.
c) The native returned to his homeland from his assignment overseas in Dec 2010.

Chart 4: Ref Mumbai Club

a) 32nd year of this native operates from Jun 2010 - Jun 2011
b) Mercury is in 4H and implements in Aquarius which is the 11H of spouse and child (8H
from its natal position) in the 32nd year. Lords of Aquarius Saturn and Rahu are both posited
in the 5H of speculation, love affair, intelligence, children, merits of previous birth (purva
punya).
c) In the 32nd the native has his first child born in Jan 2011.
We asked if after the child birth the native feels his luck has become unlucky. The reply
given was the native feels yes it has and the expenses has gone above the roof and lot of
fights with wife.

Chart 5: Ys Mother
Mer is in the 6H of job, its 8th energy will implement in Asc, in Asc the sign Virgo is placed
who is aspected by 6L of Job Saturn who is also the 5L of promotions. Virgo’s lord Mer is in
return placed in 6H of job. The native was asked what happened in 32 nd year and her reply
was she got 2 promotions in that same year.

Chart 6: Ys Father

Mer 2nd Lord and 11L of achievements is placed in the 3H of short travels along with 3L
Venus who is also the 10L of profession. Mer implements itself in the 8th house from itself,
which in this case would be the 10H of career and this 10H in return is aspected by 5L of
promotions Jupiter. The native was asked what happened in the 32 nd year, he replied
promotion happened and also travels.

Chart 7: Govt Job

Mer is the 11L of Achievements and is placed in the 3rd house which is a house of badhak for
the 1oH of one’s career. 8th from this Mer would be the 10H of one’s career. The lord becomes
Sun and it is placed in 2nd house of status and income, sun also governs government. The
query was asked to the native did any event in career happened. The native said yes she
become Permanent in her Govt Job of teaching. She was further asked if she had to sign a
contract or something, she first said no then she said yes she did sign some documents, the
reason was Mer is in the 3H of contracts.

Chart 8: Chastity
Mer is placed in the 9th of legal marriage, its 8th energy goes in the 4H of home life, she was
asked what happened regarding home matters in the 32nd year , she replied that was when her
home life started getting destroyed with her husband becoming violent. 4H is also the house
of chastity/infidelity and she said she later a one month affair in the 32 nd year. Husbands
who are violent physically do not understand that it can only lead to the women seeking
solace elsewhere.

Chart 9: Twenty days before the 32nd year

 a) The 32nd year would be from 2nd June 2013 to 2nd June 2014
b) Mer is in the 12H of past life attachments and implements its 8th energy in the 7th
house of marriage
c) The native got engaged on 11th of May 2013 (21 days prior to the start of the 32nd year)
after 3 years of opposition from family members.
