 Andrew H. Leung
Andrew is a concept artist based on Los Angeles. He worked for various multi million dollar block buster films
including Black Panther. In the film Black panther, he designed the main environment Wakanda as well as other
elements such as holographic display.
This is one of the interior establishing concept arts he
worked on. Most of his works have photorealistic style
since the environment or object should be put
together with real actors or environments.
In this particular interior scene, the light source is very
limited with only environmental light coming from
outside of the room. It naturally darkens the scene so
the holographic HUD on the ceiling can be more visible.

The color theme of this film is quite interesting that the

city is surrounded by mountains and huge nature. That
is to say the exterior scene is very colorful and vibrant.
On the other hand most interiors are rather futuristic
with black and white monochromatic color which
reflects the characteristics of Wakanda where the
highly advanced technologies and the great nature co-
exist.
