Poha Making Machine is a de-husked rice which is flattened into flat light dry

flakes. These flakes of rice swell when added to liquid, whether hot or cold, as
they absorb water, milk or any other liquids. The thicknesses of these flakes vary
between almost translucently thin (the more expensive varieties) to nearly four
times thicker than a normal rice grain. This easily digestible form of raw rice is
very popular across Nepal, India and Bangladesh, and is normally used to
prepare snacks or light and easy fast food in a variety of Indian cuisine styles,
some even for long-term consumption of a week or more. It is known by a
variety of names in India. Features:
• Effectiveness
• Compatible
• Best grade materials

Manufacturing Process:
• The paddy is graded, sorted and then soaked in water for about 4-6 hours. The
water is removed and the paddy is roasted in Roaster Machine which is filled
with Sand. The hot paddy that comes out from the Roaster Machine is then
poured into the Poha Machine. The high speed pressure shaft of the Poha
Machine is used to flatten the paddy and to remove the husk from the paddy.
The huskless flattened rice is then passed through a Cleaning (Chalna) machine.
The fresh flattened rice is obtained as Poha from the Cleaning machine.

Roaster Machine

Our Paddy Roaster Machines, is mostly used for roasting Paddy, Ground Nut,
Maize, Corn, Wheat, Rice Flakes (Poha), Pulses, Dry fruits, Chana (Bengal Gram),
Green Peas, etc & for making Puffed Rice (Murmura, Muri, etc). The very fine
quality of Sand (esp. the sand available on the banks of big rivers like, Ganges,
Mahanadi, Godavari, Narmada, etc) is used as medium of roasting. Before, the
roasting of the food grains, sand is poured inside the spiral loop of the Roaster
machine. These Spiral loops are the most important feature of the roaster
machine, because these loops contain the sand which is used for heating the rice
kernels inside the roaster machine. The sand in these loops is uniformly
distributed to produce the best quality of roasted food grains. The fuel used for
these roaster machines varies widely from Paddy Husk, to Wood/Saw Dust, Coal,
Coconut Chophra (Outer Layer of Coconut), Cow-Dung Cakes, Kerosene, Diesel,
etc.
