Continuing with the tradition started in 1992 (first conference in Landhut, Germany), we are pleased to
announce that the next edition (22nd) of the EWGT* meeting will be held in Barcelona, from September 18 to
20, 2019, organized by the Statistics and Operations Research Department and the Civil and Environmental
Engineering Department of the UPC and in collaboration with CENIT1 and CARNET2.

CALL FOR PAPERS 1. Transport modeling and control

Submission guidelines. Only original and unpublished
works will be considered for presentation at the
conference. Extended abstracts (up to 3 pages) will be
submitted by December 15th 2018. Authors with accepted
abstracts will be invited to send full papers of up to 8 pages
that will be reviewed by independent experts. Full papers
will be published in the proceedings of the EWGT 2019. It
is intended that the proceedings should again be
published in Transportation Research Procedia, continuing
the partnership between Elsevier and EWGT that has
operated since EWGT 2014. Details about the required
format of the extended abstracts (templates) and the
submission process can be found on the conference
website (https://ewgt19.upc.edu). Also, the local
organizing committee is establishing agreements with
some top journals for special issues related to the works
presented at the EWGT 2019 Meeting.
