    Conversion therapy
    Even today conversion therapy is used in some states. If you don´t know what it is, then I can
    tell you that it´s pseudoscientific practise of trying to change someone´s sexual orientation
    or gender identity. In fact in 2018 just around 20 states in the whole world banned it or are
    doing it case-by-case eventhough I am counting USA as 50 states.
    The main advantage for someone could be not having a gay person in family if you are a
    believer but the price for it is shocking. Lobotomy, psychoanalysis, castration, sex therapy or
    even electric shock therapy are used. According to Huffington Post in USA there´s almost
    700 000 people between ages 18 and 59 who have undergone this.
    Despite this great deal of not having a gay person in family, there´s a lot of things that are
    not right about it. Firstly, changing someone is not good in any case. Secondly, electric shock
    therapy, lobotomy or even castration can harm the person and I´m not even talking about
    that fact that your parents agreed to it.
    In my opinion there´s more things that are bad about it than the good one´s. I think harming
    people is never good and the one´s who are doing it are some kind of ill because thinking
    that God or whoever is agreeing to harming people is not really a believer. Bible never said
    that someone´s sexual orientation is bad or that he has to be punished for it.
