 WELCOME

Honorary President of the Catalan Sports Federation for Cerebral Palsy

(FECPC), Carles Muñoz would like to invite you to the 2020 IFCPF Na-
tions Championships and invite you to the beautiful city of Sant Cugat.

First of all I would like to thank everyone from IFCPF, and Sant Cugat
City Council and all our stakeholders and partners of their support and
advice in working with us to ensure that everything is right for the play-
ers and their respective delegations.

We aim to provide the best conditions in our training facilities and ven-
ues, ensuring that players are able to perform their best and enjoy their
stay in our city. Sant Cugat offers a comfortable base providing security
and a unique sense of community. Barcelona and Sant Cugat are very
well connected by train or by our transport services considering that
Sant Cugat del Vallès is very close to the accommodation services and
also to Barcelona.

 INTRODUCTION

The 2020 IFCPF Nations Championshipswill take place in June 2020 in the city of Sant Cugat
del Vallès.

Sant Cugat del Vallès is situated at 30 min by car from Barcelona city. With nearly 90,000
inhabitants, the population of Sant Cugat is one of the youngest and most qualified in Cata-
lonia. Children’s town, land of artists, university campus, research center and business and
multinational headquarters is also a welcoming and diverse city, with a rich associative fab-
ric.

Sant Cugat is a modern and pioneer city that keeps on the warm of a village.

 ACCOMMODATION

OPTION A
RESA - ROBERTO DE NOBILI

Teams will be accommodated at 3 star quality hotel (RESA – Roberto

Nobili) which counts with very good facilities. Teams will dispose dou-
ble rooms with private bathroom, showers and WC.

Roberto Nobili counts also with several function rooms for meetings
and events, bar-café and sandwich bar, laundry and cyber corner.

Meals will be served in the hotel for all the delegations.

to the order of the entries received

SERCOTEL CIUTAT de MONTACADA HOTEL

The Sercotel Ciutat de Montcada Hotel is a comfortable 4 star quality

hotel, very good facilities.

With a pleasant, cosy interior, the hotel has 105 rooms. They have eve-
rything you'll need to enjoy a stay with free WiFi internet.

Meals will be served in the hotel for all the delegations.

* Rooms available for only 2 teams which will be distributed according

to the order of the entries received.

Teams will be accommodated at 4 star quality hotel (Hotel Exe Campus, AC Hotel and Holi-
day Inn Express Sant Cugat) which all of them counts with very good facilities. Teams will
dispose double or triple rooms with private bathroom, showers and WC.

All the hotels counts also with several function rooms for meetings and events, comforta-
ble facilities and excellent services with large work areas.

Meals will be served in the hotel for all the delegations.

 TRANSPORT

Arrivals and Departures at the Barcelona Airport

The Airport of Barcelona will be the official sites where the LOC will develop his transport
arrival services.

Transport from the airport to the accommodation hotels will be provided by the organiza-
tion and included on the final payment. Transfers for arrivals and departures will be han-
dled by the organization using bus.

The distance between the airport and the accommodation center is no longer than 35 km,
and the time estimated for the transfer is around 30 minutes.

Training Venues

A discretional service will be at disposal for the teams by bus, from the accommodation
center to the training venues. These are not further than 15 minutes from the accommo-
dation center.

The same bus will transfer the team to the hotel at the end of the training session.

Competition Venues

All the teams will be collected from the accommodation center and transferred to the
competition venue, 110 minutes previously to the hour defined as the start time of the
match to be at least 90 minutes before to start the game at the venue.

A discretional service will be at disposal a bus for each team from the accommodation cen-
ter to the training venues. These are not further than 15 minutes from the accommodation
center.
The same bus will transfer the team to the hotel at the end of the match.

For non-competing teams: two discretional buses (one at morning and one at afternoon)
will cover transportation to the competition venues for teams that do not compete that
day. They will depart from the accommodation center 20 minutes before the first match
starting and will leave the competition stadium 15 minutes later from the end of the final
match (morning and afternoon).

 CLASSIFICATION

Two international panels are available to classify athletes at the Jaume Tubau Stadium.

Together with the 2nd entry, athlete’s classification, where known, should be included on
the Delegation Form. Where a classification of an athlete is unknown, please indicate it on
the Delegation Form.

International classification procedure will be held during the tournament, from 17th of
June to 19th of June 2020.

Jaume Tubau Stadium will be the official venue for 2020 IFCPF Nations
Championships.

part of the 2013 Intercontinental Cup was held.

This stadium is closer to the city downtown in a very good environment

getting easy for the spectators to attend the matches and for the teams.

We will use Can Magi Stadium in case that we need to do 2 games at the same
time for the last games of the group stage, quarter finals and semi-finals.

Can Magi Stadium is a high quality artificial grass field where we used
during the 2013 Intercontinental Cup to the last games of the group
stage.

Also their location next to the city center can help teams to go sightsee-
ing the city and the possible spectators during the tournament.

 LA GUINARDERA

La Guinardera will be the official training venue for 2020 IFCPF Nations
Championships.

La Guinardera is a very high quality artificial grass field where it’s usu-
ally used for a Rugby games during the season.

We were used as a training venue during CPISRA World Games and 2013
Intercontinental Cup. It’s equipped with a very good facilities and new
changing rooms.

 IFCPF WORLD CUP (FEMALE)

For the first time in history, the IFCPF together with FECPC will organize
the first Female World Cup.

National Teams from all over the world will participate in the competition,
another big step to promote and consolidate Female CP Football.
