INSOMNIA COOKIES TO OPEN LOCATION IN SOUTH ORANGE

The famous Philly-based cookie chain will be opening their first location in South Orange later
this month.

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. (Oct. 16, 2019) – Insomnia Cookies, a bakery specializing in warm
desserts, is looking to open a brand-new location in South Orange on Oct. 29. They will host a
grand opening Halloween cookie-making party from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Additionally, Insomnia
Cookies will sponsor the 5K Turkey Trot Race and Walk from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Nov. 23. The
goal for Insomnia Cookies is to expand its demographic from college students and people who
work late at night to parents and children who can use them for fundraisers, bake sales, and other
events at school.

All cookies the week of Oct. 29 to Nov. 4 will be half-priced. In addition, a raffle will be held at
the 5K Turkey Trot Race and Walk where the winner will receive a $100 gift certificate which
can be used towards any item at the South Orange location.

Insomnia Cookies’ business in the food service industry covers all of Essex County.
