Content Standard The learners demonstrate an understanding of the formation of the universe.
Performance Standard Conduct a survey to assess the possible geologic hazards that your community

area near faultlines, volcanoes and steep slope.)
Learning Competencies The learners shall be able to
1. State the different hypotheses explaining the origin of the universe
(S11/12ES-Ia-e-1)
At the end of this lesson, the learners will be able to:
1. Describe the structure and composition of the Universe

3. Enumerate the different eras or periods that happen during the big bang.

Doppler Effect and Interactive

Ask the learners to watch two short video clips filmed inside a car. Try to
determine where the horn is coming from. Is it coming from inside the car or
outside the car? If outside the car, where?
