Dear Hon. Adricula:

My client, Pastor Alex Estebes came to my office seeking for a legal advice
relative to a certain document labelled as “Malinong nga Paghusay,” dated
August 9, 2019 issued by your office for ready enforcement.

Please be advised that said document is considered invalid or void, hence, it

cannot be enforced as it will violate the constitutional right on religious
freedom of the members of the Alimodian Assembly of God under my
client’s leadership. More so, enforcement thereof is contrary to Art. 132 of
the Revised Penal Code on interruption of religious worship as it will
constitute an act of preventing or disturbing the ceremonies or
manifestations of any religion.

In view thereof, demand is hereby made upon you to cause the complainants
in this barangay case to cease and desist from infringing and interrupting the
religious freedom of the members of the aforementioned religion. You are
also enjoined not to enforce the aforesaid document for the reason above-
stated.

Finally, may we remind you that failure to comply with such demands may
subsequently result in legal action against you and other erring individuals.
