Tetrix Robot Final

Andrew, Mike, and Ben

The epic cool robot
CAD of Robot
Arm design and description
Our designed Arm, was double jointed, and had high torque servos. It also had
custom 3D printed servo horns because the original servo horns did not fit. This
was very ambitious and turned out to be too complicated to Design, Build, and
Code in the alloted time. Because of this, we used a much simpler arm for the
deadline in hopes of installing the more complex arm later.

What I learned Ben
What was the difficult part of the project working?

Experimentation and fine tuning with code

What was the easy part?

Plugging in the code from the library

What role did you play on the team?

Coder

How did your team perform, and what could be improved on working with your
team?

We took a little while on implementing the arm. We could’ve done that faster
What I learned Andrew
The most difficult part of the project was the deadlines. I always thought I had
more time than I did, and couldn’t finish the cooler stuff in time because of it.

The easy part was actually building the bot.

I was the CADer and arm builder.

We worked well as a team, though could work on communication and time

management.
What I learned Mike
What was the difficult part of the project working?

The most difficult part of the project was the code and part finding

What was the easy part?

Assembly of the actual Bot

What role did you play on the team?

I built the robot base alongside Andrew as well.

How did your team perform, and what could be improved on working with your
team?

I believe we did good we can work on simplifying the design to save time
