THE ROLE OF THE QUR’AN IN THE CHARACTER BUILDING

Abstract: The qur’an is a guideline for people to live life. But in progress, today’s teens far even
feel strange from the holy qur’an. Effects of adolescent radicalism and capitalism thinking it is
based on the life of individualism that would destroy the living structure. Accordingly, the
purpose of this research is to analyze the application of the qur’an toward building a teen
character. This type of the research is qualitative literature research. In this study, the authors
used data from other authors as a source of data. The data was collected using literature study
techniques, data collection techniques were carried out through library and documentation
studies, namely studying books and written materials. This research declare that the qur’an also
has given instructions how doing good to Allah and others (parents, friends, and younger). The
holy qur’an has given introduction how to good behave dan act with others. And also to the
surrounding also we are taught to be kind.
