Long weekend started since yesterday and we have planned to visit my grandmother in the

country but we have to prepared well what would like to be prepared so, we have to make some
lists what we are going to do, while preparing something we went to the movie last night, we
watch very inspiring movie. The movie is a movie adapted from a best-selling Indonesian novel.
It took 40 days of filming on Belitung Island, Bangka-Belitung province. Involving 12 local
actors, it reportedly cost Rp 8 billion. With all the efforts of transforming Laskar Pelangi
(Rainbow Warrior) into a moving picture, will it satisfy readers’ imaginations?

Laskar Pelangi, if you ask me about the novel, it was written by Andrea Hirata in 2005, based
on his own experiences. I was really like to watch the film because It is about an inspiring
teacher and her 10 students in the poverty students Kampung Gantong in Belitung. May be some
people know where this village is the village ex governor Jakarta Basuki Djaya Purnama. The
film really touch heart because The poor condition of their school building does not dampen their
high spirits and hopes for a better future.

Hopefully next time I will be a fiction writer like JK Rowling and Indonesian writer like Andrea
Hirata
