SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND SOCIETY GUIDELINES ON THE SUBMISSION OF VIDEO DOCUMENTARY

Please be reminded of the following:

1) DEADLINE OF SUBMISSION: October 20, 2019 at 11:59 pm

NOTE: NO LATE SUBMISSION WILL BE ACCEPTED.

2) MANNER OF SUBMISSION: Upload your video to the google team drive of the class.

4) Video Documentary Presentation:

a) Length of presentation: 18 minutes minimum; 20 minutes maximum
b) Presentation Flow: (see Video Documentary Assessment Form)
1) Societal Issue (Local & Global)
2) Science principles applied – with resource speaker/ expert (environmentalist/environmental
sustainability advocate with curriculum vitae)
3) Technology applied - with resource speaker/ expert (environmentalist/environmental
sustainability advocate with curriculum vitae)
4) Societal Issue addressed
5) Individuals Matter (the Group members’ Plan of action)
c) All parts of the presentation (e.g., narratives, interviews, etc) must have SUBTITLES in the English
language.
d) All members MUST appear in the video presentation (especially in the portion of Individuals
Matter).
e) Video clips from Youtube and other sources may be included but should only enhance the
presentation (1/4 of total presentation).
