ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
PBO OFFICERS
2019- 2020
February 20,2019
NARRATIVE REPORT
On the 19th day of February 2019, Balatoc Elementary School pupils conducted the
PBO election of officers with the guidance of the PBO adviser, yours truly, and with the
teachers and our Teacher In Charge, Mrs. Ana A. Bomon-as.
The activity began with a short prayer to ask the Lord’s guidance and to help the
pupils choose their best leaders for the next school year, then followed by a short preview
and orientation for them to know what will be the task of each officers. The adviser
explained the job or the works of a president, vice-president, and so on. We let the pupils
nominate their officers, and let these nominees talk for about 3 minutes for their
impromptu campaign. Most of these nominees stated their plans and objectives for the
betterment of the school if they are chosen as one. We also let them enumerate the
qualities of being a good leader at the same time a good follower. Most of them told that
one quality of being one is that they should be the one to do, not to command.
After the campaign, the pupils will now choose the officers they want by raising their
hands. All of the pupils present had given their freedom to choose their favorite nominees,
and what they seem best to lead and help them boost their confidence as a pupil. After the
winners were declared, the newly elected officers gav thanks to the pupils.
The chosen leaders were called in front and they were told to make promise and
vow to do their best in leading the school and the community with the guidance of our
Teacher In Charge, Ma’am Ana Bomon-as.
The activity was successfully finished after almost two hours. The Grade 3 to Grade 5
pupils enjoyed and learned much on this activity.
