Dr. Harsh Vardhan called upon social organizations including NGOs to help in transferring science from
laboratory to public.

Union Minister of Science, Technology, Earth Sciences and Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Harsh Vardhan today
called upon social organizations including NGOs to help in transferring science from laboratory to public.
Addressing the session of National Social Organizations and Institutions during the fifth Indian National Science
Festival in Kolkata, he said that India has today taken the lead in the field of technology. He emphasized the
important role of NGOs in developing scientific outlook in the country.

The four-day annual Science Festival is held in Kolkata from November 5 to November 8, 2019. It aims to create
a policy of advanced inclusion of science and technology. The theme of this year's festival is RISEN-India -
research innovation and scientific empowerment of the nation.

Addressing the National Startup Conference and Expo, Dr. Harsh Vardhan inspired the young talented
intellectuals of the country to benefit from the Government of India Start-up India programs. The Union Minister
said that the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi firmly believes that the youth of the country will benefit from
these two schemes to start new ventures and become partners in the development of the country.

Later addressing the Assistive Technology Conference and Expo for PwDs, Dr. Harsh Vardhan said that specially
skilled individuals can work shoulder to shoulder with others. He asked the delegates to do their research on new
technologies which would help in overcoming various physical discrepancies.

इस आयोजन म 480 व ाथ शा मल ए जनम से 268 ने एक साथ रे डयो कट तैयार क । इस तरह उ ह ने इतनी बड़ी सं या म व ा थय ारा
एक बार रे डयो कट बनाने का नया ग ीज रकाड बनाया।

महान बंगाली ा तकारी ब पन चंद पाल क जयंती पर ांज ल अ पत करते ए डॉ हष वधन ने कहा क आज के दन कसर जाग कता
दवस भी मनाया जाता है। इसक शु आत के य मं ी डॉ हष वधन ने 2014 म क थी। व ान महो सव के दौरान कोलकाता म मेगा व ान मेला
लगाया गया है।
