The operations manager has clearly communicated the information to the client
using the official email source. The intensity of the situation is clearly reflected
by the project manager in form of the subject “Urgent Requirement”.
A clear self-introduction has been provided by Kim the operations manager who
has to first make the client understand are they communicating with the
authorized person and if it would be valid to discuss such confidential matters as
in most of the cases of the improper communication first the sender fails to inform
the receiver who are they and what is their relation to the issue discussed. In such
cases the receivers send back asking for further details to know if they are
speaking with the right person which is again a high time taking process.
When things are not effectively communicated in one single shot this further
delays the process and increases the risk of the situation. Hence it is the role of
the leader to effectively communicate the things to gather the attention of the
purpose they intend to (Barrett, 2006).
