 Instructions for Executives regarding Seizure Memo

1. The executive department may get photocopies of necessary pages of seized

files/documents from the office of the Vigilance Branch on demand by the executive
officer in charge under his/her personal signature.

2. Seizure of above files/documents should not e misconstrued as a directive from

vigilance branch to stop all the works on the matter concerning such files/documents.
The executive department is free to proceed according to the requirements of the case
as per the direction of the competent executive authority.

3. In case, vigilance Branch considers it necessary to stop/modify further proceedings in

the case, he will advise the executive accordingly. The executive however should
make its own assessment of the situation and proceed further in the matter keeping the
advice of Vigilance Branch in min. Vigilance investigation should not be quoted as a
reason for delay in legitimate executive decision.

4. In normal circumstances, the original documents will be retained by Vigilance Branch

till finalization of the Vigilance investigation. If due to some unavoidable
circumstances, the original documents are required by the executive department, a
requisition signed by executive officer may be sent to Vigilance for making the same
available.

5. In case other documents like sanction , other correspondence etc. related to the file (s)
seized are available in your office, the same may please be submitted to Vigilance
Branch within seven days without fail so that the investigation may be completed
within a reasonable time limit.

I wish to join the course for art of living commence from 07.10.14 to 12.10.14. The programme
is running at Vasant Vihar Raj Kishore Nagar, BSP by Vyakti Vikas Kendra India, Bilaspur(C.G.). As per
Railway Board letter no. PHQ/Ruling/Training& development/05/2997 dtd. 14.08.14, casual leave
may be garnted to railway employee as per para 2 (i).

Hence , you are requested to grant the SCL from 08.10.12 to 10.10.12 to attend the above said
course.
